The Lead Comprehensive Planning Commission has started to meet and your input is needed. The Commission is reviewing and prioritizing goals outlined in the City of Lead Comprehensive Plan. The Commission will meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, 6:00 p.m. at Lead City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in discussions to build on Lead’s future. The commission held a special meeting on Jan 6th at the Golden Hills Resort. The Rural Learning Center, Vantage Point Historical Services, and Jones and Jones presented the final draft of their report entitled Bridging Lead's Future. Following the presentation there was an update of the Lead Comprehensive Plan, and a discussion on the short term goals. For more information call Nick at 430-9020
